ACADEMIC MOBILITY
WHAT IS ACADEMIC MOBILITY?
Academic mobility is an opportunity for students, postgraduates, teachers and researchers to temporarily study or work at another higher education institution within the country or abroad.
Main goal – exchange of experience, improvement of the quality of education and scientific research, as well as development of international cooperation.
Academic mobility is implemented on the basis of international cooperation agreements, international programs and projects, and can also be implemented by a participant in the educational process on their own initiative, supported by the University management, on the basis of individual invitations and other mechanisms.
MAIN TASKS:
– increase the level of theoretical and practical training;
– organize of short- and long-term training and internships;
– expand the participation of university research and teaching staff in international academic exchange projects;
– conduct original research using;
– involve leading scientific and pedagogical domestic and foreign higher education institutions and scientific institutions in conducting lectures, trainings, seminars, etc.;
– improve the quality of language training;
– improve the international image of the University;
– develop of social, economic and cultural ties;
– strengthen the integration of education and science, deepening knowledge of the national cultures of other countries, as well as disseminating knowledge about the language, culture, education and science of Ukraine.
TYPES OF ACADEMIC MOBILITY:
Internal academic mobility is implemented in higher education institutions and scientific institutions within Ukraine.
– International academic mobility is implemented in higher education institutions and partner scientific institutions outside Ukraine.
– Credit mobility – exchange studies for one or more semesters with crediting of study results at the main higher education institution.
– Degree mobility – obtaining a full degree from a foreign higher education institution.
– Scientific mobility – participation in research programs, internships and conferences.
– Teaching mobility – giving lectures, participating in trainings, sharing experiences.

– Improving competitiveness in the labor market.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
– Successful studies and high GPA.
– Complete 1st year of Bachelor’s degree.
– English language proficiency at level B2.
– Having motivation and clear goals for participating in the program.
– Submission of documents (application form, motivation letter, recommendations, academic transcript).
CONFIRMATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY?
Usually, one of the requirements is a certificate confirming your level of English (for example, IELTS, TOEFL, FCE, CAE, CPE, etc.), but there are cases when a certificate of language proficiency from the university is sufficient (can be obtained from the international project department).

WHO FINANCES THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM?
– funds of the state budget of Ukraine;
– funds from the University’s special fund;
– funds from higher education support and development funds;
– grants from national and international organizations and private foundations;
– funds of the receiving party, if provided for by the agreement;
– funds of legal entities and individuals;
– other sources not prohibited by law.

– Prepare a package of documents.
– Go through the selection.
LIST OF DOCUMENTS
The list of documents for each academic mobility program may differ, below is an approximate list of required documents:
- Language certificateor a certificate from the university.
- CV in EUROPASS format.
- Tripartite agreementor Learning agreement (Erasmus+).
- An excerpt from the grade book translated into English.
- Application for exchange.
- Motivation letter.
- Individual schedule for calculating the academic difference after returning from exchange.
