GOAL, OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIONS

Goal. The work of the International and Project Department consists in creating a modern dynamic research and innovation environment for the successful realization of the creative potential of IUEH; expanding international cooperation with foreign higher education institutions; attracting foreign students and stateless persons to study at IUEH; practical implementation of the results of scientific and creative achievements of students, postgraduates, scientific, pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers by developing educational, research, innovative projects; ensuring their financing from external sources and grant activities; participation in national and international project competitions and programs.

The main tasks of the International and  Project Department are:

  • Organization and coordination of international and project activities at IUEH;
  • Identifying creative initiatives and providing comprehensive assistance in their promotion through the development and implementation of projects;
  • Involving students, postgraduates, scientific, pedagogical, and scientific-pedagogical workers in participating in international, all-Ukrainian and regional project competitions for scholarships, awards, and grants;
  • Providing administrative, organizational and methodological, informational, and consulting support in the process of developing and implementing educational, research, and innovation projects of IUEH;
  • Promoting the practical application of research and innovation results;
  • Search for project proposals, grants, project financing funds for scientific, pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers and students;
  • Implementation of interaction of IUEH with organizations, enterprises, institutions, regional bodies of state power and local self-government; regional, domestic and international funds and programs;
  • Organization and coordination of training and internships of postgraduate students, scientific, pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers and students abroad;
  • Organization and holding of international conferences, symposiums, round tables, seminars, binary lectures, and other events;
  • Attracting foreign partners to participate in educational and scientific events held at IUEH;
  • Cooperation with other countries, foreign organizations, and enterprises in the field of educational activities and advanced training of personnel;
  • Organization of cultural exchanges;
  • Organization and coordination of the participation of students, scientific, pedagogical, and scientific-pedagogical workers in academic mobility programs;
  • Registration, accounting, visa support, documentation and organization of visits of foreign delegations, specialists, teachers and students arriving at IUEH for visits, work or study;
  • Comprehensive provision of study and living conditions for foreign students;
  • Implementation of other types of international cooperation.

Main areas of activity of the department aimed at establishing and developing international relations and international cooperation of the university in scientific, educational and other fields by implementing organizational measures to search for foreign partners, foreign sources of financing for the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities, creating the basis for cooperation with foreign educational institutions, scientific institutions, international organizations, foundations, as well as attracting foreign citizens to study and comprehensively ensuring their conditions of study and living.

The basis for international cooperation is bilateral or multilateral agreements on cooperation and partnership between the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities and foreign partners.
